Widget Context Plugin

Download the latest version at WordPress Extend or search for it in your WordPress Dashboard under Plugins › Add New. For WordPress 2.5 — 2.7.1: widget-context-0.36.zip (Version 0.36; March 22, 2009).

Usage

1. Install the plugin.
2. Configure widget visibility settings for each widget under Appearance › Widgets.

• 0.4.1 — July 13, 2009. Almost a complete rewrite of the plugin. Doesn’t use options table for storing original widget callbacks anymore. Fixes one missing closing </label> tag that caused problems in widget admin area. Added ‘hide’ option for temporarily hiding widget during configuration.
• 0.37 — June 13, 2009. Fixed CSS overflow for widget settings wrapper. widget-context.zip now becomes the default version.
• 0.4-bleeding-edge — May 10, 2009. Widget Context settings were not saved because of the updated Widget API for WordPress 2.8+.
• 0.36 — March 22, 2009. Fixed widget settings not being on the first time when adding a widget. When widget is removed, its context settings are also deleted.
