Is it true that finding solutions to problems in programming is more satisfying than discussing and stating ideas in writing? Or are these simply two kinds of people who prefer one over the other?

Yep, I like this design, simple and plain. I just wonder that’s the reason to spend much time on design if most of users use RSS readers to read blogs anyway (that’s me).
I think it is two different kinds of people Kaspars.
It is incredibly satisfying when you do something really cool in code then sit back and watch things respond to your every whim, but the responses you get from adoring fans when you write can be a hard drug to let go of.
R_K, you’re right. I also read most of the news and blogs in my RSS reader. This will be another reason to stop fiddling with CSS and write something instead.
Andrew, I think you are spot on. The question is — can one do both at the same time?
I think I’ll do an experiment and will only write, write and write until the new year comes knocking. I’ll release all my super secret plugins, close the comments on those posts and let the WordPress forum community do the job of making them better.
Maybe I’m one of many people who’d like to see the design/visual apparent more than just content (words). The design itself is “content”.
I don’t like to divide things into design and content.
