The question is -- can one do both at the same time? I think I'll do an experiment and will only write, write and write until the new year comes knocking. It is incredibly satisfying when you do something really cool in code then sit back and watch things respond to your every whim, but the responses you get from adoring fans when you write can be a hard drug to let go of.
